The Fairbanks Adult Amateur Baseball League (FAABL) is recruiting players for the 2026 season. Tryouts are your entry point—and this is your last chance to be placed on a team.

All skill levels welcome — from former college and Legion players to guys getting back into the game.

• Competitive, organized men’s wood-bat league

• Teams built through structured tryouts

• Sunday games, with occasional midweek matchups

Spots are limited. Teams are filling now.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT TRYOUTS

Players will participate in a structured evaluation that includes:

• Hitting

• Fielding

• Pitching (optional)

After tryouts, players are placed on teams based on:

• Roster needs

• Skill level

• Positional fit

Managers work together to build balanced, competitive rosters so every player has a meaningful role.

This is organized baseball—not random placement.

WHO CAN TRY OUT?

• Men 18 years and older

• All experience levels welcome

• Must be available for Sunday games

• Occasional weekday games may occur

FAABL is not a casual rec league.

This is competitive, organized wood-bat baseball, played under MLB-style rules with players who compete hard and respect the game.
