TEAMS

  • The Blizzards are FAABL’s pace-setters: young, fast, and relentlessly competitive. Built around top Fairbanks high school and American Legion talent, they’ve become a proving ground for players pushing toward the next level, including collegiate opportunities. Fresh off a 2025 City Series championship, the Blizzards pair speed and defensive precision with a winning pedigree that includes a 2023 City Series title and a 2024 Alaska State Tournament championship. Youthful energy meets postseason experience—every game is played at full throttle.

  • Established in 2025, the Cienfuegos—better known as the Fuegos—bring noise, energy, and edge to the FAABL. Never shy about chirping from the dugout, they play with personality and intensity, turning every game into a battle. After a tough early stretch in 2025, the Fuegos found their rhythm and surged into the City Series playoffs as one of the league’s top performers. Still young, still hungry, and no longer overlooked, this is a team that thrives when the stakes rise.

  • The Eielson AFB Icemen are one of FAABL’s most cohesive and battle-tested squads. Built around a tight-knit group from Eielson Air Force Base, they play with discipline, toughness, and a quiet confidence that shows up when games get physical and pressure mounts. The Icemen expect to compete deep into the postseason every year, carrying themselves like perennial contenders while backing it up with hard-nosed baseball and a strong team-first culture. When the lights are on, they’re fearless—and they don’t blink.

  • The Misfits are FAABL’s ultimate underdog story. Formed after an overflow at tryouts, this ragtag group came together quickly in their inaugural season and proved they weren’t just filling a roster spot. Gritty, resilient, and unafraid of anyone in the league, the Misfits play with a chip on their shoulder and something to prove. Entering their second season, they’re no longer a surprise—they’re a team that expects to compete and isn’t done making noise.

  • The Pirates are the FAABL’s longest-standing franchise and one of its most dependable competitors. With years of league experience behind them, they bring a calm, veteran presence built on consistent execution and timely offense. The Pirates know how to grind through a season, swing the bats when it matters, and stay composed in big moments. In a league defined by parity, they remain a steady force—seasoned, prepared, and always dangerous when games tighten up.

  • The Spruce are one of FAABL’s defining franchises, built on championship expectations and elite leadership. Guided by a Hall of Fame manager, they combine veteran savvy with disciplined execution, setting the standard for consistency across the league. After a runner-up finish in the 2024 and 2025 City Series, the Spruce remain firmly focused on one objective: returning to the top and adding another chapter to an already formidable legacy. Every season starts with a target on their backs—and they embrace it.

Whether you're a veteran or first-timer, every team has room for guys who hustle, compete, and bring something to the dugout.
